Saturday 18 October
Light up your neighbourhood!
Arrange your own MS Moonlight Walk event with friends, family and your wider community, and help shine a light on the one million Queenslanders living with a neurological condition.
Take on the MS Moonlight Walk – your way!
If you can’t make it to Brisbane for the official event, you can still take part in the MS Moonlight Walk in your own neighbourhood.
You get to choose the route and distance, the date and time in October (although we’d encourage you to synchronise with the Brisbane event if at all possible) and the company!

“The MS Moonlight Walk is something very special.”
At the age of 7, Aimee Segal became a Swimathon fundraiser for Multiple Sclerosis (MS), never imagining that the fight would one day become her own. In 2020, aged 15, she was diagnosed with MS after waking with stroke-like symptoms on Christmas Eve.
Aimee has continued to be a fundraising hero for MS, despite her own ongoing health challenges, and is now limbering up for her third MS Moonlight Walk.
“It’s hard to describe the feeling of community and of being united in one purpose; it’s all about positivity and connection. We sing, we dance, we dress up and we have so much fun. It’s a really great night for a really great cause!”

How much does it cost to take part?
Registration costs $25 for adults, $15 for children and $70 for families (2 adults / 2 children). You’ll receive a Light Up! pack in the post, which includes an iconic MS Moonlight Walk lantern for each walker.
When should I do my MS Moonlight Walk?
We recommend that you walk on Saturday 18 October, any time from sundown, to match our official event in Brisbane. However, if this date doesn’t suit, you’re welcome to choose any date in October.
How far should I aim to walk?
You can choose your own distance, depending on the age and fitness levels of you and your walking group. The distance options at the official event in Brisbane are 2.5km, 5km and 7.5km.
Prefer to be part of the official event?
If you can travel to Brisbane on 18 October, why not register for the official MS Moonlight Walk at Roma Parkland and soak up the magical atmosphere?
