“The MS Moonlight Walk is something very special.”
At the age of 7, Aimee Segal became a Swimathon fundraiser for Multiple Sclerosis (MS), never imagining that the fight would one day become her own. In 2020, aged 15, she was diagnosed with MS after waking with stroke-like symptoms on Christmas Eve.
Aimee has continued to be a fundraising hero for MS, despite her own ongoing health challenges, and is now limbering up for her third MS Moonlight Walk.
“It’s hard to describe the feeling of community and of being united in one purpose; it’s all about positivity and connection. We sing, we dance, we dress up and we have so much fun. It’s a really great night for a really great cause!”
