I'm swapping my walking shoes for running ones and taking on the 7.5km run at the 2026 MS Moonlight Walk
I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2019. Since then I've clocked up more than 250 hours in hospital, more than 80 infusions and 8 MRIs. My treatment is a monthly infusion that I'll have for the rest of my life.
MS doesn't define me or how I live, but it does give you perspective. You learn pretty quickly never to take your health for granted.
This year I'm swapping my walking shoes for running ones and taking on the 7.5km run at the 2026 MS Moonlight Walk. I'm running for the 1.3 million Queenslanders living with a neurological condition like multiple sclerosis (MS), dementia, Parkinson's and epilepsy.
Did you know:
1 in 4 Queenslanders are living with a neuro condition
Neurological conditions are a group of disorders that affect the brain, spinal cord and/or nerves, and impact the way your mind and body work.
Just 6% of Queenslanders living with neurological conditions are receiving vital support via the NDIS.
Your donation keeps vital services like the NeuroAssist Helpline, specialist MS nurses and Neuro Wellness Hubs running, and powers research into better treatments and, hopefully one day, a cure.
Please donate if you can, share if you can't, and together we'll make sure no one walks (or runs) this path alone. 💜
